I joined the SV in 1966.
I handled many a "show"
dog in the beginning,
and moved quickly to the
working dogs.
Through the years, I have handled many dogs in small club trials and Regional and National events, all with different degrees of success.
In 1985, I became a SV judge. I have been fortunate to judge several National and International competitions from Germany and Europe to the United States and Japan.
I have given many seminars in these countries to handlers and helpers alike.
In 1971, I began breeding German Shepherd Dogs.
My kennel name is "vom Leipheimer Moor" which refers to the region where I live in Germany.
I have bred through the alphabet five times and have seen many puppies develop into top working dogs.
My philosophy is to breed healthy, handler-strong working dogs.
I endeavor to judge fairly and to put the best dog who demonstrates exceptional working qualities on top.
For me it is also wonderful getting so many friends around the world out of our wonderful sport!
